Mason has a strong background in sports being a multi sport athlete in high school and understands what it takes to recover from injuries to achieve your goals. He has a wide variety of experience from his internship programs and is excited to begin his career with Universal Therapy.
Mason‘s interests are in outpatient orthopedics and sports therapy as well as manual therapy and exercise programming. He will be taking on a new service we are starting to offer called blood flow restriction training (or BFR). This is a specialized training procedure that allows you to strengthen the muscles around the joint while limiting the stress to that joint. It is a very effective treatment for recovering from recent surgery, acute joint or muscle injuries, and even chronic issues like tendinitis or chronic pain.
